Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Nick Tung ("we", "us", or "our") — operating the AI.TOGETHER movement and its event, The AI Action Lab (the "Event") — collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal data you provide when you apply to attend. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
By submitting the application form on this site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit the form.
2. Personal Data We Collect
When you complete the application form, we collect only the information you voluntarily provide:
- Identity & contact data: your name, email address, and mobile number
- Business data: your company name, your role, and the business problem you describe
- Eligibility data: whether you have a Claude Pro account
- Consent record: your confirmation of the eligibility/attendance declaration
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service that records only aggregate, non-identifying statistics (such as page views, approximate country, device type, and the referring website). It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We use no other trackers, and do not collect sensitive personal data as defined under the PDPA.
3. Purposes of Collection and Use
Under the PDPA we must notify you of why we collect your data. We use it to:
- Review and process your application to attend the Event
- Contact you about your application and Event logistics (e.g. confirmation, venue, reminders)
- Keep you informed about future AI.TOGETHER events, cohorts, and related updates (you can opt out at any time)
- Keep a record of applicants and attendees
- Comply with applicable laws in Singapore
We will not use your personal data for any other purpose without first obtaining your consent, unless required by law. Your data is never used to train any AI model, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate this site and store applications:
- Google LLC — your application is stored in a private Google Sheet within our Google Workspace account, submitted via Google Apps Script
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery of this website, and privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics (aggregate visitor statistics only)
These providers process your data only to provide their service and maintain industry-standard security. Where data is transferred outside Singapore, we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection, consistent with the PDPA. We may also disclose data if required by Singapore law, a court order, or a lawful government request.
5. Consent and Withdrawal
By submitting the application form, you consent to us collecting and using your personal data for the purposes above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at tungkaisheng@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +65 8668 4687. Withdrawal may affect our ability to process your application, and does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
6. Access and Correction
Under the PDPA you may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you. Please contact tungkaisheng@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We keep your application data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Applicant records are retained for up to 24 months after the Event — so we can handle follow-ups and invite you to the next cohort or related AI.TOGETHER events — and are then securely deleted. You may ask us to delete your data earlier at any time (see Sections 5 and 6).
8. Data Protection and Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption across the entire site
- Storage in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the organiser's authorised Google account
- Anti-spam and input-safety measures on the application form
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; you provide your data at your own risk.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
